Andrew Delaney is on the Kerrville Folk & Wine Festival bill for this upcoming Labor Day weekend, where he will be sharing the Threadgill Theater stage with four other songwriters.

It’s not the first time for Delaney, as he was one of the New Folk songwriting winners in the 2010 festival contest, and, although he didn’t emerge with its top award, festival promoters invited him back for the late August festival.

Andrew is also a finalist in the 2010 Shiner Rising Star contest, due to step on the LaGrange stage against Robert Donahue and the Driftin’ Outlaw Band Aug. 26, the day before he leaves for Kerrville.

Delaney’s and Donahue’s bands were also both finalists in the 2009 Rising Star competitions.
