This calendar is available to any business, church, organization, school, and/or individual who has an upcoming event that is open to the public. Who, what, when, where… There is never a charge for a listing. Just send the information via email to maryjane@sceneintown.com or message via Facebook on Mary Jane Farmer’s profile/page.The calendar does not only list the upcoming fun things, but also the more necessary events, such as City Council or other government meetings, VAISD meetings and happenings (when made available) and so much more.

AARP Tax Prep Services – Free tax preparation aid provided by AARP available to everyone, especially people aged 50 or older. Done by appointment only on Mondays through April 13th, hosted at the Van Alstyne History Museum. Preparation packets are available at the Van Alstyne History Museum and City Hall; packets must be filled out before calling to make an appointment.
