Shiner Rising Star, KHYI, 2010, Rd 2 Wk 5, 10/14
The Chris Miller trio vied against the more local band, Shutdown Town at T-Bones Bar & Grill in downtown Denison. Judges this week were all KHYI (sponsoring radio station) personalities, Big Gus Samuelson, Chance Cody, and Brett Dillon. Local singer/songwriter Dustin Perkins handled the sound, and Tim and the T-Bones crew handled the food and drink service very well.
In the end, it was the Chris Miller Band who is moving on to the final competition, Thursday, Oct. 21, at Love & War in Plano.
