Bleu Edmondson played The Drunken Mule in Commerce, Texas, Saturday night Jan.22th. A venue that has become one of the premier places to hear live music in the North Texas area. Owned and opererated by Garett Dollgener, the club has a reputation for treating artists first class and the word has spread. With a growing list of bands that are coming back for a second or third time. Bleu is one of a number of artists who played a benefit for Garett, the list of artists who answered the call was incredible.

Bleu opened the show playing songs from his new CD, The Future Ain’t What it Used to Be.  Bleu’s raspy soulful voice has given him a very loyal following and the fans at The Mule were loud and rowdy from the very first song! With a pocket full of chart hits including his version of “Finger on the Trigger”  to “Fifty Dollars and a Flask of Crown” the crowd was on its feet and pressed to the front of the stage from the very first song till the last.  Awesome band and a great club made for a perfect Texas Saturday night.
