Judges for the week: Darryl Lee Rush, Tip Jones, Brett Dillon
The Calamity Janes..First of all..Brett told them how pretty they looked…like they were headed to Prom… he liked that..and next was the harmony…he asked are yall real sisters..yes was the answer.. told them the harmonies were incredible..and he loved the covers.. especially the Pistol Annies.. Hell on Heels.. Tip Jones..loved the harmonies.. he could see how the girls have made it this far.. he however thought the covers were a little predictable.. you did a good job on them…just predictable..DLR. (Darryl Lee Rush) he said..sisters..that explains it.. you don’t get harmony like that unless you grow up under the same roof!…good job girls….
Then Matt (Bradshaw)…holy cow.. first words spoken were from Brett… he said.. “Matt..if there was a Brett, Tip, DLR record label..we would sign you today!!!” an asked..do you have a band..nope was the answer…and Brett told him…”you don’t need a band”… Then Tip Jones..first thing he said was WOW.. “Matt..I could sit here and listen to you all night brother..you don’t need a band.. great songwriting….and by the way…love the beard..:-)” Then DLR.. he said..Brother you don’t need a band…and you keep writing songs like that.. you could get 20 people to play with you tomorrow..and love the guitar.. you play it FEARLESS…(and actually reminded me of DLR on guitar).. they both attack it…and are all over the stage….Great job my brother!
